This 1/24 plastic model represents the Bugatti Type 41 Royal Coupe Napoleon and is aimed at experienced hobbyists and display-focused collectors who expect accurate vintage proportions and careful finishing.
The Royale, or Bugatti Type 41, was developed in the late 1920s under Ettore Bugatti as a statement of bespoke automotive luxury with a very long chassis, elaborate coachwork and a large-displacement straight-eight engine. Built in tiny numbers, the Royale models reflect interwar coachbuilding and high-end personalised bodies of the period.
The kit concentrates on exterior lines and coachwork shapes typical of the Royale family. Parts arrive on conventional injection-moulded sprues and will need trimming, seam cleaning and paint. Attention to panel alignment and chromed trim work helps achieve a convincing 1/24 display model. Using period reference photos and authentic colour palettes will improve interior and exterior accuracy for exhibition pieces.
Assembly advice for display-minded builders: dry-fit major subassemblies before gluing, sand and fill body seams carefully, and plan paint stages to protect delicate trim. A simple wooden plinth or display base can emphasise the long-wheelbase silhouette and coachbuilt details when finished.
A subject that rewards patient seam work and thoughtful finishing, suitable for cabinets and heritage model displays after careful assembly.
