The Yokomo BM-670WP is an aluminum slipper plate made as a direct replacement for the B-MAX4W line of off-road RC chassis. It provides a flat, consistent surface for the slipper clutch to contact, allowing more repeatable engagement and better control over torque transfer to the drivetrain.

Fitting is straightforward for anyone familiar with basic drivetrain service: remove the nearby gear cover and slipper components, swap in the new plate preserving the original orientation, then reassemble and verify free play and engagement. Do not force parts; check clearances and ensure smooth operation before running.

Setup focus with this plate is on slipper engagement and traction behavior. Increase preload in small steps to gain sharper launches but watch for wheel hop; backing off softens launches and lowers drivetrain stress. Use incremental tests to dial in the balance for your track surface.

Regular checks should include a visual inspection for wear, clearing debris, and confirming flat mating surfaces. Replace the plate if grooves or uneven wear develop to keep slipper performance predictable.
