This graphite front shock tower is an RC replacement built for BD9-derived front assemblies. Its main job is to give a solid upper mounting point for the front shocks and to alter how the front suspension reacts under load during setup and track use.
Fitted to compatible touring car chassis, the tower shifts stiffness toward the front of the car and can change turn-in and mid-corner balance. Graphite provides a useful mix of stiffness and low weight, making it a common choice when you want a firmer front end without changing the shocks themselves.
Installation tips: mount the tower to the front bulkhead using the factory mounting points, confirm all holes line up before final tightening, and check shock eyelet clearance once fitted. When switching between materials, recheck front spring rates and damper settings to maintain predictable handling.
