RTC rear arm overview

This replacement suspension arm is made for the optional RTC (Rear Toe Control) setup on the BD8 2018 on-road chassis. The arm keeps a 53mm measured in/out suspension pin spacing and places the shock pivot at 39.5mm to match the RTC geometry used on BD8 cars.

Fitment targets BD8-family on-road platforms and is explicitly compatible with MRTC-BD8SV. Use this arm when installing or fine-tuning the RTC unit to adjust rear toe without modifying the bulkhead or core suspension geometry.

Installation notes: the part is supplied as a direct-fit spare for BD8 RTC mounting points, so in most cases existing suspension pins and hardware are reused. After fitting, check alignment, free movement, and ensure there is no interference with the shock or driveshafts.

Tuning role: adding this arm as part of an RTC-equipped rear end gives predictable rear toe sensitivity. Small changes in arm or pivot position produce measurable toe response during roll and braking, helping refine corner exit and overall stability for on-road track driving.

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some Yokomo items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
This arm is built to BD8 RTC geometry and fits BD8 2018 cars that already have the RTC mounting points. If the car lacks those points the arm will not mate without adding the RTC mounts or modifying the chassis.
Generally you can reuse the suspension pins and fasteners from your existing setup, but inspect them for wear and replace any hardware showing play or damage before final assembly.
Expect more controllable rear toe change under load, which helps tune corner exit traction and mid-corner stability on high-grip, on-road surfaces. Adjustments are incremental and predictable from small arm or pivot shifts.
