Stiff graphite rear hub carrier for BD8 RTC

This hard-type graphite molded rear hub carrier is produced for the optional RTC (rear toe control) fitment on the BD8 2018 chassis. It functions as an RC-scale replacement or hop-up part, delivering a firmer mounting point where the RTC assembly governs rear toe adjustments.

Relative to softer resin knuckles, this carrier reduces compliance at the hub, which can make rear toe react more quickly under load and during directional transitions. Factor this change into your tuning alongside anti-roll bars, damper settings, and toe-in when refining handling on 1/10 on-road cars.

Installation is straightforward for those familiar with BD8 maintenance: the carrier replaces the stock RTC-compatible rear knuckle and reuses the chassis' existing hub bolts and bearings. Check fitment, endplay, and rear toe symmetry after assembly before running the car.

How will the B8-RTC-14 change handling at the rear?

The part provides a stiffer mounting point for the RTC system, so rear toe tends to respond faster under load and may alter mid-corner behaviour. Tuning toe, dampers and anti-roll bars together will help regain balance.

Does the kit include new bolts or bearings?

No additional hub bolts or bearings are supplied. The pack contains one left and one right carrier only; reuse the standard hardware and bearings from your BD8 chassis.

Can this be fitted to BD8s without the RTC layout?

This carrier is made for the RTC rear toe control layout on BD8 2018 style assemblies. Confirm your chassis uses the RTC-compatible knuckle before attempting installation.
