Stiff rear arm optimised for BD8 RTC

Designed for use with the optional RTC (Rear Toe Control) system on the BD8 2018 platform, this graphite molded rear hard suspension arm provides predictable rear-end geometry. It maintains the BD8 2018 layout dimensions with a 54mm in/out suspension pin spacing and a 40.5mm shock pivot.

Install this arm when you need a firmer rear link to reduce hub flex and keep toe settings stable under load. It replaces the standard rear arm and works with RTC hardware to permit finer toe adjustment without affecting other suspension geometry.

Tuning notes: fitting a harder rear arm typically sharpens initial turn-in and can improve repeatability on high-traction surfaces while increasing rear snap on loose tracks; confirm roll centre and shock angle after installation and retain standard mounting hardware unless the RTC kit calls for alternatives.

Compatibility

  • BD8 2018
  • MRTC-BD818
  • MRTC-BD818A

The arm uses a 54mm in/out suspension pin spacing with a 40.5mm shock pivot, matching the BD8 2018 rear geometry.
It installs in place of the stock rear arm and integrates with the RTC components to allow finer toe adjustments while leaving other rear geometry settings unchanged.
Yes. A firmer rear arm generally sharpens turn-in and improves consistency on tacky surfaces but can increase rear snap on loose layouts; recheck roll centre and shock angle after fitting.
