Micro-adjust body-height adapter

The BD-ABM6 kit from Yokomo provides a small sleeve that slides over a 6mm body post, letting you make fine, controlled changes to body height on 1/10 on-road and drift cars. It is ideal when minor height tweaks are needed without cutting the body or replacing the full post.

The parts work with standard compatible body posts and permit small incremental raises or drops by locking the sleeve position with the supplied adjustable nut and O-ring. This lets you dial in clearance for body-to-tire or body-to-chassis contact and adjust front/rear body rake for handling balance.

Fitting is simple: place the sleeve on the post, set the desired position, then secure it with the nut and O-ring. After installation, re-check clearances and tighten as required. This product is marketed as an RC accessory for scale models and not intended for full-size use.

How do I fit the BD-ABM6 to my body posts?

Slide the mount sleeve over the 6mm post, position to the desired height, then tighten the adjustable nut against the sleeve and secure the O-ring. Verify clearance after tightening.

Will the sleeve affect body flex or fit?

The sleeve is designed to be low-profile and should not noticeably change body flex. It provides a repeatable stop so fitment tends to be more consistent than trial trimming.

Can I remove the adapter without damage?

Yes. The sleeve and nut are removable and repositionable, so you can revert to the original post setup without permanent modification to the body or post.
