SLF short-shock spring cup for BD7-2014 fitment

This RC accessory is a direct-replacement spring cup shaped for SLF short-shock assemblies and referenced to BD7-2014 dampers. It provides a firm seat for the coil spring inside short-stroke shock bodies and allows accurate control of spring preload and seating height without altering the shock shaft or the spring retainer.

Fitting is simple for anyone used to basic shock service: strip the shock, remove the old spring and cup, fit the new cup on the shaft or lower mount according to your SLF short-shock layout, then rebuild and verify smooth travel. Reuse the original seals and spacers to preserve oil containment and stroke behavior.

From a setup perspective, changing the cup primarily shifts spring seat position and the available preload range rather than changing oil damping. Small adjustments to cup height will influence ride height, initial spring engagement, and transient balance. After installation check for any side play and confirm preload and endstops during initial track runs.

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some Yokomo items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
It is specified for SLF short-shock geometries that reference BD7-2014 dampers. Fit where the shock length and mounting positions follow the SLF short-shock design.
The part repositions the spring seat and alters preload but does not change oil viscosity or piston valving. Damping behavior remains controlled by your chosen oil and piston setup.
Keep original spacers and seals, ensure springs run concentric to avoid side load, and recheck preload and endstops after a short test session.
