This kit replaces the stock steering tie rod and servo horn on Axial Racing Yeti cars that use a 24T spline servo output. The assembly pairs a spring steel anti-thread tie rod with an aluminium servo horn to protect ball end threads and keep the linkage secure under frequent steering inputs.
For RC-scale operation only. The spring steel link delivers better fatigue resistance than typical plated links, while the aluminium horn gives a more solid interface to the 24T spline compared with common plastic horns. Together they help preserve steering geometry during repeated rock racing or trail sessions.
Installation tips: confirm spline alignment before final tightening, apply a suitable thread-retaining method for metal-to-metal joints if desired, and set horn rotation and steering endpoints prior to trimming link length. This part is a direct replacement when existing ball ends and mounts match the Yeti steering layout.
