This 1pc rear main drive shaft is built for the Axial Racing Yeti chassis and supplied as GPM YT237A. It pairs an aluminium shaft body with a hardened steel joint to cut rotating weight while keeping the coupling area hard wearing.
The aluminium shaft reduces rotating mass to help throttle response and transient acceleration on trail or circuit runs, while the hardened steel joint resists spline and joint wear where loads concentrate. The kit also includes stainless steel fasteners for secure assembly.
Installation notes: remove the stock rear main drive shaft retaining hardware, slide the replacement shaft into the gearbox and hub assemblies, check alignment and secure the supplied screws to the torque appropriate for your Yeti build. Recheck universal joints and splines for any play after a short break-in.
Choose this shaft to reduce rotating drivetrain weight on a Yeti while keeping a durable joint; perform routine inspections after initial runs to confirm reliable operation.
