Fitting is normally done at the gearbox output where the adapter replaces a stock spacer or plastic adaptor and the 66T spur fastens to the adapter using the existing hardware. Verify mesh with your chosen pinion and check clearance to chassis and suspension parts before final torque. Apply thread locker to metal fasteners where recommended and recheck gear mesh after a short run-in period.
