This aftermarket ring and pinion pair is a scale drivetrain replacement tailored for the AXIAL SCX6 platform. The gears are hardened 20Cr carbon steel with a black finish and helical spiral-cut toothform engineered to distribute load and run smoother than straight-cut stock gears. The module is 1.35 and the set includes a 32T ring and 9T pinion for installation inside the axle differential housing.

Functionally the gears transfer motor torque through the differential to the axle shafts. Because of the spiral-cut geometry the mesh usually runs quieter and with lower localized stress when properly shimmed and adjusted. This set is offered as a higher-speed-ratio alternative to the factory 12/43T 1.0 mod set referenced by AXI252007; always verify fit and mesh before final assembly.

Installation notes: ensure the 1.35 mod pinion seats correctly on the motor output or diff pinion journal, set a controlled backlash to avoid premature wear, and inspect bearings and diff housing for any play before final tightening. Apply a suitable gear lubricant to the teeth and re-check mesh after a short low-speed run-in period. This component is intended for RC model use only.
