This brass gearbox cover is made for the AXIAL SCX6 1/6 4WD Jeep JLU Wrangler chassis and fits the front and rear gearbox housings to add mechanical protection and a touch of scale weight while keeping the stock differential layout unchanged.
Machined from solid brass with precision CNC profiling, the cover helps stabilise the differential assembly and keeps alignment under load with close tolerance machining. The kit contains one gearbox cover and four stainless steel cap head screws for secure mounting, and the surface has an anodised colour finish to resist abrasion.
Fitting is straightforward: remove the original cover on the chosen axle, locate the brass cover on the same mounting points, and fasten using the supplied 3x25 cap head screws. After fitting, verify gear mesh and bearing alignment and run the drivetrain by hand before powered testing. This component is intended for scale protection and tuning on RC models, not for use on full size vehicles.
