This scale RC drive axle upgrade set is designed for AXIAL SCX30 platforms and is manufactured by GPM. The components are machined from 4140 medium carbon steel with a black hardened finish to balance toughness and wear resistance for demanding rock crawling and trail duty on 1/30 scale crawlers. The 3mm widened drive stubs increase each axle track by 3mm to enhance lateral stability, improve steering clearance and widen tyre fitment options.
Fitment note: the widened stub design is compatible with several SCX30 variants, but the SCX30 Ford Bronco has a low body profile that can contact wider axles. For that chassis, combine these 3mm widened drive stubs with the recommended SCX30/26FR 26mm shocks to raise ride height and avoid body interference.
Functionally this kit replaces the factory front and rear drive components and includes brass spacers to aid alignment. The intent is to increase track width and driveline robustness rather than alter suspension geometry or motor output, so check clearance and alignment before completing installation.
