This RC-scale replacement center gear box mount skid plate is machined from a single brass billet and is intended for use on AXIAL SCX30 platform models. The item is supplied as an 18g brass plate designed to replace the factory center mount AXI-3311 and to install at the chassis center where the gearbox is secured. It is made for 1/30 scale crawlers, not full-size vehicles.

Functionally the plate concentrates mass at the chassis centerline, which can help front-to-rear traction balance and improve low-speed climbing on technical rock sections. The supplied hardware covers common thread sizes used on SCX30 assemblies and allows a direct swap-in at the original mounting points.

Installation notes: remove the stock center mount, align the brass plate with the same screw bosses, and use the included round head screws. Use a correct hex driver and hand-tighten first, then snug to final torque to avoid stripping the small threads.
