This aftermarket mount set is a stainless steel bottom protector designed for the AXIAL SCX24 Deadbolt scale crawler. The kit gives focused coverage to the lower faces of the front and rear gearbox housings to limit sand and small stone intrusion and to absorb light impacts encountered on trail runs.
The hardware set includes the protector plates and the fasteners required for installation so no additional parts are needed: Gear Box Protector - 2pcs, Stainless Steel Button Head Screw 1.4x4 - 4pcs, Stainless Steel Button Head Screw 1.4x10 - 4pcs, install mount - 2pcs. All metal parts are stainless steel for corrosion resistance when exposed to air and moisture.
Fit and installation notes: the plates sit close to the gearbox underside and attach to existing chassis points or the supplied mounts. Use the included screws and follow normal RC practice for thread engagement and torque to avoid over-tightening into plastic or composite housings. The guards are primarily defensive, helping to prevent abrasion and rock contact to the gearbox bottom while keeping changes to vehicle geometry minimal.
