Brass gearbox cap for SCX24 crawlers

This aftermarket gearbox cover is made for the AXIAL SCX24 DEADBOLT and other 1/24 4WD SCX24 models. Machined from solid brass, the part replaces the stock front and rear gearbox caps to create a stronger mounting surface around the differential and help stabilise gear alignment under load. The kit ships with the matching cap-head screws required for fitment so only basic tools are needed for installation.

Fitting notes: the cover installs at the front and rear gearbox locations as a direct replacement for the original caps listed in the part reference. The brass mass gives a predictable added weight (noted in the source) which can subtly change diff loading and handling; many tuners use that to fine tune driveline feel. Precision machining keeps the differential positioned to reduce lateral play while leaving internal gear geometry unchanged.
