This brass front steering knuckle set is an RC-scale replacement part made for use with the Axial SCX24 chassis. It swaps out the plastic stock knuckles for heavier metal pieces to alter front-end balance and deliver firmer steering feedback during slow, technical crawling.
Fitting the knuckles is straightforward for hobbyists comfortable with basic teardown: remove the wheel and hub, unbolt the stock knuckle, move over any bearings or hexes, and install the brass knuckle using the vehicle's existing fasteners. Standard hex drivers are sufficient and no special machining is required for typical SCX24 configurations.
From a setup standpoint, brass knuckles raise front axle inertia and can improve steering feel on rock and scale trail sections where extra nose weight aids traction and tracking. They provide a metal replacement route for testing weight distribution without changing springs or dampers.
