Aluminum portal outer housing for scale crawlers

This is an RC-scale aluminum outer portal drive housing made for AXIAL SCX10 III JEEP WRANGLER platforms, supplied by GPM as part number SCX3021A. The unit replaces the outer shell of the knuckle arms on front or rear portals and is intended to steady the inner gear train inside the knuckle assembly.

Machined from 6061 T6 aluminum, the housing provides a firmer mounting surface compared with the stock plastic case and ships with stainless steel cap head screws for fastening to the knuckle. The set suits builders who want a tougher outer case that helps keep gear mesh stable during slow technical crawling and scale trail runs.

Installation notes: the housing mounts to the existing knuckle arm layout and uses the supplied 2.5x10 stainless steel cap head screws. No special tools beyond standard hex drivers are required, and take care to preserve correct gear preload when reassembling to avoid binding.
