This JR-AS213 steel main center drive shaft is an RC-scale replacement part made for use with the Axial SCX10 II chassis. It is a direct drivetrain component intended to transfer torque between the transmission and axles for slow-speed scale rock crawling and technical trail driving.
Focus on fit and alignment during installation: inspect the existing driveshaft interface, confirm spline and yoke engagement, and check for endplay or binding through full suspension travel. As a steel component it changes drivetrain inertia and wear behavior compared with common stock materials; plan for proper lubrication and verify bearing condition when swapping parts.
For setup and tuning use this shaft to address play or replace damaged elements in the centre drive assembly, and verify clearance around suspension links and skid plates while articulating the suspension. Regular inspections after heavy use will reveal wear at mating surfaces and universal joints.
