This is an RC-scale front frame brace purpose-built for the Axial SCX10 II chassis, supplied as model JR-AS209. The aluminum reinforcement reduces front-end flex and stabilises steering inputs during slow technical crawling and rough trail sections by strengthening the front chassis rails where stock plastic brackets can move under load.
Installation is simple on SCX10 II rigs using the existing mounting points and factory fasteners; the brace either replaces or works alongside the stock front frame support depending on your setup. Fitting the alloy brace shifts load paths away from molded sections, helping maintain steering geometry on obstacles.
Tuning notes: this is a chassis stiffening upgrade rather than a suspension overhaul. Expect a firmer front feel and crisper steering feedback on technical lines. After installation check and retighten screw torque following a short break-in run to avoid fretting between mating surfaces.
