This machined 6061 aluminum servo mount is an RC accessory made for the Axial SCX10 II chassis and sold as JR-AS206. It replaces more flexible plastic mounting plates to help keep the servo aligned during slow-speed technical driving and scale crawling.
The component locates the servo at the SCX10 II chassis' standard mounting position and creates a stable platform for the servo horn and linkage. That stability helps maintain predictable steering response when the vehicle is loaded or negotiating rough terrain.
Fitting is straightforward using the SCX10 II mounting points: remove the body or access panel as needed, set the mount into the chassis servo bay, align the servo in the mount, and secure using the chassis' existing fastener locations. Check horn alignment and servo travel before final tightening to avoid binding.
As a tuning item, the aluminum mount increases mounting stiffness compared with common plastic mounts. The added rigidity can improve steering repeatability and make trim adjustments more consistent when pairing the chassis with different servos and suspension setups.
