6061 T6 aluminum hex adapters for AXIAL SCX10 II and UMG10

This aluminium-scale hex adapter kit is made to connect wheel hubs to axles on AXIAL SCX10 II and UMG10 models. Machined from 6061 T6 aluminium, the parts are intended where a firmer metal-to-axle interface is preferred over stock plastic hexes for trail and rock crawling setups.

Each adapter fits onto the axle and locates the wheel using the supplied steel pins and stainless cap head screws. The kit supplies a flat-style front hex and a raised rear hex to suit common axle and hub clearances found on SCX10 II conversions. Use these to replace worn or stripped plastic hexes or to stiffen the wheel mount for heavier loads.

Installation notes: remove wheel and the original hex, slide the aluminium adapter into position, line up the retention hole, then secure with the included steel pin and cap head screw. Expect a close fit; verify wheel runout and free rotation after fitting. No changes to motor or ESC are required.

On-vehicle tuning notes: switching to aluminium hexes reduces hub flex and can alter low-speed feedback and wheel centring under load. Pair these adapters with appropriate wheel offset and suspension tuning to tune the handling for crawling or slow-pace trail use.
