25mm wheel hex adapters for SCX10 II chassis

These aluminium wheel hex adapters add 25mm of effective axle width to widen the track on Axial SCX10 II crawlers, improving side-to-side stability on demanding rock courses. They are made to work with 4mm threaded wheel shafts and wheels with a 4mm hub bore.

The adapter stack uses a Delrin centre collar to locate the wheel, an O-ring on one flank and a spring-steel retaining ring with springs and washers on the opposite side to minimise axial play. A stainless steel cap-head screw secures the assembly and keeps the hex turning with the shaft under heavy traction common in scale crawling.

Fit and setup tips: confirm both shaft thread and wheel bore are 4mm before fitting, check wheel runout by hand after assembly, and verify clearance to suspension arms and bodywork once the wider track is fitted. Wider track improves roll resistance but can increase load on bearings and steering linkages, so recheck bearing fit and steering geometry after installation.
