This aluminium pair of wheel hex adapters widens track by 23mm to give better lateral stability on RC crawlers. The adapters suit wheels with a 4mm centre hole and wheel shafts that have a 4mm threaded section, so the same hex set will work with any wheel and axle meeting those measurements.
The assembly uses an O-ring on one face and a spring-steel retaining ring with washers plus a stainless steel screw on the opposite face to clamp the hex tightly. A Delrin collar is fitted inside the hex to hold the adapter in place and reduce wheel slip relative to the hex under load, which helps on steep or technical crawling lines where traction and precise inputs matter.
As these parts simply widen the wheel stance, they are intended for tuning track width and handling balance on scale crawlers; check both shaft and wheel centre bore dimensions before fitting. Inspect retaining rings and screws after heavy use to ensure secure retention.
