This is an RC-scale steering linkage designed for Axial SCX-10 chassis use, offered in a silver aluminum finish. Model ASCX10-22403-02-S is supplied as a direct replacement for worn or bent plastic links to restore proper steering alignment in scale crawlers.
Installation uses common tie-rod procedures: remove the original link, inspect ball ends or rod ends for wear, fit the new aluminum link and tighten to the recommended thread engagement. Basic tools such as a hex driver and small wrenches are normally sufficient. After fitting, verify servo horn clearance and full-lock suspension travel.
Used as a tuning component, an aluminum steering linkage gives a firmer connection between steering parts and can help maintain consistent toe under load. Remember that final steering behavior still depends on servo choice, tie-rod length, and overall suspension geometry.
