Alloy adjustable mounts for SCX10 tuning

This 1 pr set of front and rear damper mounts is designed for the Axial Racing SCX10 platform. CNC-style machined alloy gives a rigid upper mounting point for shocks, and the row of threaded holes allows you to relocate the shock eye to alter leverage and ride height for scale tuning on crawlers and trail rigs.

Fitting is straightforward for experienced builders: remove the stock plastic mounts, fit the alloy units to the factory mounting bosses, and reuse the original hardware where it applies. After installation, check shock shaft alignment and full travel to ensure there is no binding. Depending on your body and wiring layout, small trims or repositioning may be required.

Tuning tips: selecting different hole positions shifts the shock angle and effective spring rate, which changes articulation and body roll. Use the upper hole positions for increased droop and the lower positions for a firmer stance. Re-check screw torque after the first runs and at regular intervals to keep the mounts secure.

Maintenance advice: inspect internal threads for wear, apply a medium-strength thread-locker to steel fasteners when needed, and keep mating faces clean to preserve fit accuracy. This component is intended for hobby RC use only and not for use on real vehicles.
