Wide 27mm hex adapters for SCX10 II

This pair of aluminium wheel hex adapters gives a simple track-width upgrade for AXIAL Racing SCX10 II builds. The set delivers a 27mm total width to push wheels outward and increase lateral stability on technical rock and trail sections.

The construction uses a machined aluminium hex body with a Delrin locating collar, an O-ring on one face and a spring steel ring plus washers on the opposite face to preserve preload and prevent wheel slip. A stainless steel cap head screw fastens the assembly to 4mm threaded wheel shafts while the central 4mm bore accepts wheels with a 4mm mounting hole.

Fitting is straightforward: slide the adapter onto a compatible 4mm threaded shaft, locate the Delrin collar, stack the O-ring and spring ring as shown in the part orientation, then tighten the stainless screw to clamp the wheel. After widening, verify clearance through full suspension travel, check steering link geometry and confirm wheel balance and bearing alignment as part of setup.
