This aluminum steering linkage serves as a direct-fit replacement and hop-up for Axial Racing SCX-10 Honcho and Dingo scale crawlers. It is machined from anodized aluminum in black to provide straighter steering and less flex than stock plastic parts. The item is offered as an RC-scale accessory for model use only.
Installation notes: remove the factory plastic linkage, confirm thread engagement on steering knuckles and the servo horn, and move any existing heim joints or rod ends onto the new link. Recenter the servo before fine adjustment, then set toe and steering trim on your transmitter. Check full steering throw for clearance to prevent binding with suspension or chassis parts after installation.
Tuning role: replacing plastic with aluminum reduces elastic deflection under load and helps retain consistent steering geometry while crawling or negotiating high-load turns. Use this linkage alongside servo endpoint settings and drag link geometry to dial steering feel rather than relying on it alone to fix steering issues.
