Stiffened aluminium main chassis for AX10 Deadbolt builds

This aluminium main chassis is an RC-scale upgrade made for Axial Racing AX10 Deadbolt platforms, supplied by JAZRIDER as model AX10-24021-OR. It replaces the stock main chassis to give a firmer mounting base for drivetrain and suspension pick points, helping to stabilise geometry under load while keeping the original mounting pattern.

The component targets hobbyists seeking more predictable handling when tuning: the increased stiffness shifts load away from flexible plastic panels and places setup changes into suspension, links and wheelbase alignment. Installation uses the existing AX10 Deadbolt mounting locations so no re-drilling is normally required for standard kit assemblies, but confirm fit with your specific accessories before final installation.

The finish is orange anodised aluminium for scale appearance and basic corrosion resistance; the surface treatment does not alter mounting patterns or interfere with electronics or driveline components when fitted in a crawler environment.

Specifications

  • Item: Main chassis
  • Material: Aluminum
  • Model Number: AX10-24021-OR
  • Compatibility: Axial Racing AX10 Deadbolt

Choose this chassis to reduce unwanted flex and provide a stable base for suspension and drivetrain tuning on AX10 Deadbolt rigs while maintaining compatibility with standard mounting hardware and layouts.

The part is manufactured to the AX10 Deadbolt mounting pattern and is intended to install using the existing locations; however, verify your kit's link positions and any added accessories before tightening final hardware.
Most installations reuse original kit hardware, but confirm thread sizes and lengths versus the replacement plate to ensure proper engagement and head clearance; use threadlocker where appropriate for metal-to-metal joints.
Expect reduced chassis flex, so begin tuning with slightly softer shock damping or small link geometry adjustments to regain desired compliance; make changes incrementally and test on typical terrain lines.
The orange anodised surface gives basic corrosion protection and should not interfere electrically when properly isolated; route wiring to avoid sharp edges and confirm clearances around servos and ESCs.
This replacement follows the standard AX10 Deadbolt layout and is intended for the same orientation as the kit chassis; flipping is not recommended as it can change driveline and battery clearances.
