13T Steel Motor Pinion for Axial EXO Models

This hardened steel motor pinion is supplied as a single replacement unit for Axial Racing EXO scale kits and is intended for use where a 13T pinion is specified. It is a serviceable motor-to-spur gear component sold as 1 pcs and suited to electric crawler and buggy setups that require stronger steel gearing.

When installing, set correct motor-to-spur mesh before finalising the pinion position. Slide the pinion onto the motor shaft, align the motor so the teeth meet the spur without binding or excessive clearance, then secure using your motor's fastening method. Rotate the drivetrain by hand at low load to confirm smooth engagement.

Changing to the EX013TS 13T pinion alters the overall drive ratio compared with your current pinion and spur, so use it when you need a lower speed or improved torque for traction-focused runs. Regularly inspect the mating spur and check for wear to avoid accelerated gear damage.
