This is an RC-scale brass outer portal drive housing made for use on AXIAL Capra 1.9 Unlimited platforms to deliberately increase unsprung mass at each wheel and change crawling characteristics. The part is suitable for either front or rear portal housings where wheel inner diameter and mounting clearances are compatible with the unit.
Manufactured from brass to add roughly 64g per wheel, the housing increases contact force on slow-speed obstacles and helps rigs recover from tuck-in situations by boosting traction and low-speed stability. The outer diameter is 43mm, so wheels must have an inner bore larger than 43mm for correct installation.
This design is an aftermarket replacement housing for hobby-grade rock crawlers and trail rigs; it does not include internal gears or bearings and should be secured using the supplied cap head screws. Confirm fitment and portal clearance before final assembly.
