This is an RC-scale steering linkage rod for the Axial AX10 Scorpion chassis and AX10-series models, sold under part number AX10-27/GR. The component replaces the stock tie rod and links the servo output to the front steering knuckles, preserving the mechanical path that transfers steering input across the axle.
Fitting is simple: remove the existing rod from the ball cups, locate the replacement into the same ball ends, and set the rod length so the steering geometry centres at neutral. Check ball cups and link seating for play, and make small length changes to reduce steering slop and obtain the desired toe and steering centre.
As a tuning item, the linkage rod changes steering responsiveness and mechanical free play but does not alter servo specification or suspension layout by itself. Small length adjustments influence toe angle and steering return, and keeping the rod close to parallel with the servo arm at rest helps predictable steering performance on technical rock courses.
