The AR0017R is an aftermarket alloy rear sinkage dish rim made for the Associated RC18T platform, supplied as a matched pair for RC-scale use only. It targets builders replacing worn plastic wheels or those wanting a firmer mounting surface for repeatable setup on 1/18 scale short-course and touring truck style chassis.

This rim prioritises mechanical fit and tuning over cosmetic change. In practice it creates a rigid mount for the tyre bead, helping keep tyre shape consistent under cornering loads and allowing fine offset and track width adjustments when used with the correct wheel hexes and spacers.

Installation follows a standard wheel-swap routine: remove the wheel assembly from the hub, transfer the tyre and any foam insert if required, fit the alloy rim to the wheel hex and check runout and clearance before final torque. After a short test run, recheck hex engagement and wheel nut torque to confirm secure seating.
