This graphite main shaft is produced for the Associated RC18T platform and supplied as a single replacement piece. It functions as the direct-drive shaft in the RC18T drivetrain, transferring motor torque into the gearbox and through the spur and pinion train.

The graphite construction delivers a balance of stiffness and reduced rotating mass compared with heavier metal options, helping to keep inertia low while retaining the strength needed for club and track running.
