Made for Associated RC18T setups, this 55-tooth alloy main gear is supplied as 1pc and serves as an aftermarket spur to directly replace the stock 55T unit in the RC18T drivetrain.
Manufactured from aluminium alloy to match the stock footprint, the gear installs without gearbox modification in most builds. During fitment check pinion-to-spur mesh and clearance with the bearings and motor mount, secure the gear with the original hex screws, and confirm free rotation before running.
Changing the spur is a simple tuning step to alter final drive ratio and fine tune acceleration versus top speed on the track. Always recheck mesh and mounting security after any change to avoid premature wear.
