This pair of 1/18-scale rear tires is an aftermarket tyre option created for the Associated RC 18T, supplied with internal inserts to hold the radial profile. The shape is tuned to fit standard 18T rear hubs and common touring-buggy inserts used on 1/18-scale setups.

Compound and tuning: the 40 degree notation denotes a firmer rubber compound that balances traction and longevity on carpet and low-grip asphalt. These tires provide a stiffer rear contact patch that resists squirm under acceleration, so you may need to soften suspension or adjust differential settings to recover mid-corner grip.

Fitting guidance: each tyre includes an insert to support the profile. Ensure the bead seats cleanly on the rim before applying glue, remove any mould flash from the inner lip so the insert sits flat, and check alignment before final adhesion. Regularly balance and rotate tyres to even out wear across sessions.
