The Arrowmax am-210023 silicone diff fluid is supplied in a 59ml bottle and carries a nominal viscosity of 10,000cst. It is formulated to be used inside model differential housings to alter traction bias and fine-tune chassis balance without changing hardware geometry.
Compatibility is with standard hobby R/C differentials that accept silicone oil as the damping medium. The product is intended solely as a tuning aid: higher viscosity increases internal resistance and reduces differential action under acceleration or cornering, while lower viscosity permits freer differential behaviour.
Installation is a routine maintenance task on most hobby-grade diffs. Typical steps are to remove the differential from the gearbox, open the housing following your chassis service procedure, drain the old oil, apply the recommended fill to the gears and spider assembly, then reassemble and confirm smooth operation. Work on a clean bench and avoid letting dirt or metal filings enter the oil.
Tuning advice: select this 10,000cst grade when you want a noticeably firmer diff feel without replacing internal parts. Diff oil changes affect understeer and oversteer balance and will interact with tyre compound, suspension setup, and spur/pinion ratios, so make small adjustments and test incrementally.
