This Arrowmax am-210013 silicone shock fluid comes in a 59ml bottle with an 800cst rating and is formulated to change damping characteristics in model shock absorbers. Tuners use it to adjust compression and rebound for a firmer or slower response on small-scale suspensions.

Pick a viscosity that suits the shock assembly and the behaviour you want. Higher centistoke (cst) numbers increase resistance and slow shock movement, while lower values let the damper move more freely. Apply the same viscosity to both shocks to maintain left-right balance.

For service work keep the workspace clean and avoid contaminating the oil. When refilling, expel trapped air from the shock bodies before reassembling, and check piston and seal condition since worn parts will compromise damping no matter which oil you use.
