Direct-fit 4140 shafts for Mini Kraton 3S

This set of shock shafts is an RC-scale replacement part for ARRMA Mini Kraton 3S models. The shafts are made from 4140 carbon steel and retain the same shaft thickness as the original parts to preserve fit and stroke characteristics on the OEM shocks.

Design notes: the shafts replace the original C-clip retention with an integrated clipless-style profile intended to reduce the risk of a clip coming loose while maintaining the same compression travel. These shafts are intended for use with the original ARRMA shock assemblies and are not suitable for GPM shock assemblies.

Installation and tuning role: swap the shafts into the stock ARRMA shock bodies following standard shock disassembly procedures, keeping seals and oil condition consistent with your current setup. Because the shaft diameter matches the original specification, expect unchanged piston fit and predictable damping behaviour, which helps when adjusting spring rates or oil viscosity for close-quarters running.

Contents and references: set includes shock shaft - 4 pcs. Original part numbers referenced by the supplier are ARA-2670, ARA-2671, ARA-2762.

Remove the shock caps and springs, drain the oil, slide out the original shafts and pistons, then install the new 4140 shafts using the same pistons and seals. Refill with your chosen shock oil and bleed the shocks as normal.
No. The integrated clipless profile is designed to maintain the original compression travel while reducing the risk of retention failure compared with C-clip style shafts.
No additional parts are required if you reuse the stock pistons, seals and shock bodies from your ARRMA shocks. The shafts match the OEM diameter and stroke characteristics.
