Heavy-duty rear shocks for Mini Kraton 3S

This set supplies RC-scale alloy rear shock absorbers tailored to the ARRMA 1/16 MINI KRATON 3S chassis. The 74mm centre-to-centre aluminium bodies arrive pre-filled with 500cSt silicone oil to give a stable baseline for rear suspension tuning.

Hardware is selected to simplify setup and routine service rather than to change gross vehicle specifications. Bleeder screws let trapped air and excess oil be released efficiently, while threaded spring preload collars allow ride height and initial spring compression to be adjusted without disassembly. The kit uses 3.0mm diameter shock shafts instead of the original 2.5mm shafts to increase shear stiffness and reduce flex under load at this scale.

Two spring choices are supplied: a factory-fitted black spring with a 1.2mm wire diameter to match stock feel, plus an extra silver spring with a 1.3mm wire for a firmer rear response. Swapping springs and adjusting preload gives quick changes to traction and squat under acceleration.

Fitment notes: these shocks are intended as rear replacements for models using a 74mm centre distance. When reusing metal-to-metal fasteners apply appropriate thread-lock, and bleed the units after filling to remove trapped air for consistent damping performance.
