This silicone sealing gasket is manufactured as an aftermarket replacement for ARRMA gearboxes, shaped to fit the front and rear gearbox housings on Kraton 6S EXB and many related ARRMA 1/7–1/8 platforms. The strip carries a 3M adhesive backing to hold the gasket in place while reassembling, helping to keep grease and oil contained inside the gearbox and away from bearings and other drivetrain components.
Material choice and dimensional fit are aimed at hobby-scale RC gearboxes, offering resistance to compression and aging so the gasket can be reused during routine maintenance. It is listed as a direct replacement for the original part ARA311190, providing the same sealing role without modifying gearbox components.
In practical tuning and maintenance terms, a properly seated gasket helps retain lubrication at the spur and pinion interfaces and reduces contamination reaching ball bearings, which can lower service intervals during heavy use. The adhesive-backed gasket simplifies alignment on reassembly, but take care to set gear mesh and verify bearing play before final closure.
