Aluminium fastener kit for XRAY T4-2014

This Arrowmax AM-141006 aluminium screw set is an aftermarket fastener kit produced for the XRAY T4-2014 touring car platform, supplied in anodized orange. The set groups common M3 thread lengths and two head styles so you can replace worn hardware or switch to lighter aluminium fasteners during race prep or maintenance.

The screws are intended for maintenance and setup work rather than structural upgrades: replacing same-diameter steel screws with aluminium lowers component-level mass, and the organised selection helps when rebuilding body mounts, shock towers and suspension link points where correct head type and length are important.

Compatibility

  • XRAY T4-2014

Use standard M3 drivers and apply conservative torque for aluminium fasteners to limit thread wear; where higher clamping force is required, retain steel hardware.

The kit contains the common M3 lengths and both countersunk and round head types used on the T4-2014; verify each mounting point's required length and head profile before swapping hardware.
These are M3 allen-head screws; use a correctly sized M3 hex driver or small hex bit to avoid rounding the head.
Aluminium saves weight but has lower shear strength than steel; avoid replacing hardware at high-load or safety-critical points and follow standard torque guidance.
The orange anodizing provides basic surface protection and makes aluminium fasteners easy to identify during build and setup, but it is not a substitute for component inspection and replacement when damaged.
