Protective Air Filter Cap

This BJAFCO air filter cover is supplied as 1pc and is designed to shield the foam element used in small-scale RC models. The single-piece, moulded cap deflects larger debris and blunt impacts while maintaining intake airflow for engines or electric motors.

Fitting is simple: remove the existing cap or exposed foam, position the cover over the filter element and secure it using the original retaining hardware or suitable clips. The cover prioritises a snug fit so it should not significantly change intake behaviour when installed correctly.

Routine maintenance remains important since the cover is a protective component rather than a performance upgrade. Take the cover off before cleaning or oiling the foam, inspect both the foam and cover for wear, and replace items as needed to keep the intake clean.
