Engineered 64-Pitch 31T Pinion

This Yokomo YOKPG6431 pinion is a 31-tooth, 64-pitch unit intended as an RC motor pinion replacement. The ultra-hard treatment creates a hardened surface that helps extend service life while maintaining precise tooth profile for reliable mesh under normal RC loads.

Fit this pinion where a 64-pitch pinion is required, pairing it with a 64-pitch spur gear. Always confirm tooth count, bore diameter and shaft fit before installation. Do not force parts; correct alignment reduces premature wear.

Installation guidance: mount the pinion perpendicular to the motor shaft, secure it with the original set screw or keyed retainer, and set correct gear mesh using a feeler or thin paper to avoid binding or excessive backlash. After an initial run, recheck set screw tightness and smooth rotation.

Tuning role: changing pinion tooth count alters final drive ratio and motor load. A 31T pinion will shift RPM relative to other sizes depending on spur gear; make incremental changes when tuning for acceleration, top speed or motor temperature control, and monitor drivetrain noise and motor temperature after any change.

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some Yokomo items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
The YOKPG6431 is a 64-pitch pinion with 31 teeth, intended for use with matching 64-pitch spur gears.
Position the pinion on the motor shaft, tighten it lightly, set mesh with a thin paper or feeler between gears, then fully secure the set screw and recheck after a short test run.
It is a 64-pitch pinion with an ultra-hard finish commonly used on motors accepting 64-pitch pinions; ensure correct shaft fit and adequate thermal management when using with high-power setups.
