106T High-Precision Spur Gear

The Yokomo SG-64106 is a finely machined 106-tooth spur gear made for RC drivetrains that use 64 pitch gearing. Its tooth profile is produced to tighter tolerances than standard spurs, which helps reduce backlash and yields more consistent power transfer from the motor pinion to the spur under load.

This spur is intended as a general replacement or upgrade where sustained mesh accuracy and predictable gear behaviour are important during setup and tuning. Pair it with a 64 pitch pinion to preserve correct tooth engagement. The gear is supplied as a single unit for replacing worn or lower-precision spurs where a 106T spur fits the existing layout.

Installation notes: check centre height and motor position before final fastening, inspect mesh by turning the drivetrain slowly and tweak pinion depth until an even contact pattern appears across the tooth face, then tighten mounting hardware while rechecking mesh under light load.

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some Yokomo items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
Use a 64 pitch pinion to match the SG-64106's 64 pitch specification so tooth profiles mesh properly.
Rotate the drivetrain slowly, use gear marking compound or tape to reveal the contact patch, then adjust motor height until the pattern shows even contact across each tooth face.
Confirm your chassis accepts a 106T 64 pitch spur by measuring mesh clearance and centre-to-centre distances; if the gearbox accepts 106T size, installation is straightforward.
