This YS Engine YSS2026 part is an RC-scale throttle barrel retainer screw specified for 56SR throttle barrels. It is intended to stop axial play so the barrel keeps steady rotation and alignment through idle and during throttle transitions.
The 56SR model marking in the name identifies fitment, so use this retainer where a 56SR throttle barrel retainer is called for. Do not assume it fits other carburettor or throttle assemblies unless the model code is confirmed.
Fitting is straightforward for routine maintenance: remove the throttle barrel, set the barrel in its correct position, thread the retainer screw into the hole until it holds the barrel freely but without binding, then check for smooth rotation across the throttle range. Take care not to overtighten and risk binding the barrel or damaging the threads.
For setup and tuning the screw removes unwanted play that can upset idle stability and throttle response. It is a small service replacement part and does not by itself change carburettor calibration.
