3mm graphite tray for MRX4 layouts

This 3mm graphite radio tray is a direct replacement designed for 1/10-scale Mugen Seiki MRX4 and MRX4-R electric touring chassis. It creates a low-profile platform for the receiver and related electronics while keeping the installation compact for improved cable routing and a predictable centre of gravity.

Fitment and purpose: the tray is made to sit in the radio bay and preserve the original component spacing used across MRX4-series chassis. During setup it helps keep the receiver and wiring organised and provides a stable baseline for positioning electronics without changing suspension or drivetrain geometry.

Installation notes: install using the chassis radio-bay hardware and factory screw locations, confirm each fastener is secure, and use foam or double-sided tape for vibration damping where needed. Route antenna and power leads away from moving parts to protect steering and suspension travel.

Specifications

  • Item Mugen Seiki MRX4 / MRX4-R radio tray
  • Material 3mm graphite
  • Model Number MRX4-17/SG
  • Compatibility Mugen Seiki MRX4, MRX4-R

Fit this graphite tray to keep the electronics tidy and maintain a repeatable mounting reference when tuning MRX4-series touring cars.

The tray is cut to match the mounting points used on MRX4 and MRX4-R layouts; check your chassis screw locations against the tray before final fastening for other revisions.
Use the stock radio-bay screws and brackets from your chassis and add foam pads or double-sided tape under the receiver for vibration isolation as required.
As a thin 3mm graphite plate its weight effect is minimal; its main benefit is a neater electronics layout and consistent mounting position for setup work.
Run power and signal leads along the tray edges, secure them with ties or tape, and keep the antenna clear of metal parts and moving components to avoid interference and snagging.
