M4WD-27 M2 x 35 socket button screw for Mini 4WD upkeep

This M2 x 35 socket button screw is supplied as a direct replacement fastener for Mini 4WD body panels and chassis mounts. The thread diameter and length are shown in the product title to help experienced builders verify fit with common compatible Tamiya 1/32 Mini 4WD posts and mount points. The text focuses on fitment and practical use rather than material claims.

Keeping a dedicated stock of correctly sized screws speeds routine maintenance and rebuilds. Before final torqueing check thread engagement and plate clearance on your specific chassis to avoid stripping thin posts. When body panels use captive nuts or brass inserts, confirm insertion depth so the 35 mm length does not contact internal components.

Treat this item as a basic spare part: verify thread pitch with a gauge if unsure, and store screws separated by length to prevent cross-use with shorter M2 fasteners. The sale is for the fastener only and does not include assembly tools or additional fittings.

Excellent service, two of the items I purchased were out of stock but was given fair options on refund, store credit or replacement. I opted for replacement as there was a different version available and one of the items did arrive bent and they sent out
Confirm your model uses M2 threads and that 35 mm is the correct length for post thickness and any internal parts before fitting to avoid interference.
Yes, if the insert or nut accepts M2 threading and the 35 mm length clears surrounding components; check engagement depth prior to final assembly.
Use the matching hex or Allen driver sized for the socket head to achieve correct torque and avoid cam-out or damage to the head.
For fragile posts consider using a nut or insert rather than direct threading; if direct threading is required, apply low torque and inspect for cracking during the initial turns.
Keep screws sorted by diameter and length in labelled compartments or small containers to avoid mixing M2 screws of different lengths and to speed repairs trackside.
