This molded medium foam insert is an RC-scale accessory intended for 1/10 on-road tires, built to support the tire profile and stabilise handling. It sits between the tire and wheel to keep a consistent crown under braking, cornering and acceleration during track running or practice.

Compatibility and role: the insert fits standard 1/10 on-road wheel and tire assemblies and acts as a tuning component rather than a disposable performance item. Swapping inserts of different hardness or profile lets you refine contact patch behaviour and mid-corner balance without changing the tyre compound.

Installation notes: fit the insert into the tire before mounting on the rim, ensure the moulded contours match the tyre crown, and check for even seating to avoid imbalance. Trim only where necessary to match the wheel inner diameter, and inspect after initial runs to confirm the tyre holds the intended profile.

Maintenance and lifespan: foam inserts wear with regular track use, particularly under higher loads. Replace inserts once they stop supporting the tyre profile or if handling becomes inconsistent.
